War is elusive

The images below are a case study of the casualties from the declared wars of the 20th century. Through the use of color and opacity, we can see up to 2,200,000 casualties. However, this isn’t nearly enough to show the scope of the world wars, which have to be shown separately. The purpose of this project is only to bring to light how much we may have missed.
